The Future of Retail

With many retail shops closing down, we all think if shops are closing, what’s the plan for the retail industry. Although if that’s what many people think.

In my view I am pretty certain, that there will be shops still existing in the high streets, I feel they need to change the way they view their company and their marketing. Some high street shops closing, could have had so much potential to make it better and attract more customers. 180103151248-amazon-go-exterior-780x439carlo-ratti-supermarket-of-the-future-interface-1032x460

I see the future of retail being that stores in the high streets will be still open and running. I believe that people like the experience of actually going into a physical shop because they get to see what the physical item looks like in real life. As purchasing things online, you only have a image you can take from of what the product looks like. But you can’t feel it nor try it on.

So maybe the future of retail brick and mortar shops will improve, to the public rather than just closing them down. Improving the technology in shops to perceive it as an easier and attractive way of shopping. Because many people do enjoy the fact of visiting an actual store whereas online shopping you don’t get that experience.
